Scheduled for Monday 4pm, we set off to Kimathi University to play friendly with The Professional players of The Titans. The Snipers snipped in two fast goals as they game got underway, and it was more comfortable sitting back and playing our game. However, when the Titans got their game plan intact, it got more difficult containing them as they came in full swing one time after another. In about twenty minutes, The Titans got their first goal and then the second and third before the half time whistle blew, and it was 3-2 at half time.
The second half got underway minutes after, and it got even much difficult for KMTC Nyeri's The Snipers as five more easy goals sealed the victory for Kimathi's The Titans. It was all over, and the final score was 8-2 a score line that not many were pleased with, considering the hard work put up in the previous weeks during training. Even so, we have improved significantly and we can only take the positives out of this game (if any).
In the other game, The Ladies teams won. They too did play well, and even though they were mixed up with the other ladies from Kimathi to form two uniform teams, our ladies showed class and stability, something that we can say was the only positive thing from this fixture. They won 1-0 and could have been more had darkness not set in
